    Arrival in Casablanca

    Pickup at Mohammed V airport and the drive to your hotel. Night: Casablanca.

  2. Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen

    Rabat, then Chefchaouen

    The Hassan II Mosque, the Chellah, the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas, then north to Chefchaouen. Night: Chefchaouen.

  3. Chefchaouen → Meknès → Volubilis → Fès

    Volubilis and Fès

    The spring and the old mosque of Chefchaouen, the Roman town of Volubilis, Meknès, and Fès for two nights. Night: Fès.

  4. Fès

    The medina of Fès

    Fès el Bali on foot: the Blue Gate, the lanes and souks, the Mellah, the Royal Palace gates and the old fortress above the city. Night: Fès.

  5. Fès → Azrou → Ifrane → Merzouga

    Into the Sahara

    Azrou, Ifrane and the cedar forest, then the long road south to Merzouga, a camel caravan at sunset and music by the fire. Night: Desert camp, Merzouga.

  6. Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Boumalne Dadès

    The gorges

    The old irrigation canals, the Todra Gorge, the Dadès Gorge and the Monkey Toes rocks. Night: Dadès.

    Erg Chegaga

    Off-road to the dunes of Erg Chegaga, a camel trek at sunset, and a night in a Berber tent. Night: Desert camp, Erg Chegaga.

  10. Erg Chegaga → Foum Zguid → Tazenakht → Taroudant

    Across to Taroudant

    Across the dry lake of Iriki and Foum Zguid, by Tazenakht and Taliouine, to the walled town of Taroudant. Night: Taroudant.

  11. Taroudant → Agadir → Taghazout → Essaouira

    Up the Atlantic coast

    By Agadir and Taghazout up the coast to Essaouira: the medina, the markets, the fishing port and the ramparts. Night: Essaouira.

  12. Essaouira → Marrakech

    To Marrakech

    Inland to Marrakech, in time for the evening on Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Night: Marrakech.

    The medina of Marrakech

    The Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef madrasa, the Koutoubia and the old souks. Night: Marrakech.
