Per car, from€70

A private transfer from Casablanca to Rabat takes about 1 h 15 for the 90 km, in your own car with an English-speaking driver. You pay one fixed price for the car, from €70, agreed before you travel. The drive from Rabat back to Casablanca costs the same.

Landing at Mohammed V airport? Rabat is about 110 km from the arrivals hall, about 1 h 30 by car. Your driver follows your flight and waits for you with your name on a sign.

  3. BouznikaMotorway
  4. SkhiratMotorway

What the price includes

  • An English-speaking driver for the whole drive
  • An air-conditioned car water on board
  • Meet and greet your name on a sign in arrivals
  • Your flight, followed no charge if you land late
  • Child seats on request
  • One fixed price agreed before you travel

Prices per car

CarSeats and bagsOne wayReturn trip
Škoda Superb, sedan3 people, 3 large bags€70€140
Ford Tourneo Custom, minivan7 people, 12 large bags€80€160
Mercedes-Benz Vito, van7 people, 7 large bags€90€180

The price is for the car, not for each person. Three friends in the Superb share €70, so about a third of that each. A family of six with suitcases fits in the Tourneo, which takes 12 large bags. For eight people or more, we send two cars.

The return trip is the same drive the other way, on the day you choose. Tick "Add the return trip" in the form to book both at once.

From Mohammed V airport to Rabat

Mohammed V airport is south of Casablanca, so the road to Rabat goes round the city before it joins the coast: about 110 km, and about 1 h 30 once you are in the car.

Add your flight number when you book. We follow the flight, and if it lands late we wait, with nothing added to the price. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, then drives you to the door of your hotel. We confirm the price from the airport on WhatsApp when you book.

Without a car booked, it is the train or a taxi. No train goes straight from the airport to Rabat: the airport train runs about once an hour to Casa‑Voyageurs (41 minutes), and you change there. In October 2026 a through ticket took 1 h 55 to Rabat‑Agdal with the Al Boraq high-speed train (140 MAD in 2nd class), or about 2 h 30 by the regular train (110 MAD), and the last connection of the day left the airport around 19:00.

Taxis wait outside the arrivals hall, and the fare to Rabat is agreed at the rank; travel guides quote about 500 to 1,000 MAD. The Aérobus (50 MAD) goes only to Casa‑Port, in central Casablanca, not to Rabat.

Train fares and times are ONCF's for October 2026, in 2nd class with a flexible ticket. The coach fares are CTM's, from its booking site on the same day; the grand taxi fares come from travel guides.

Per person, the train costs far less, and Al Boraq is fast if you start near Casa‑Voyageurs and stay near Rabat‑Agdal. The car is worth its price in other cases:

  • you land at Mohammed V, where the train means a change at Casa‑Voyageurs and about two hours on the way;
  • you travel with luggage or children, or as a group of three or more: the price is per car, so it is shared;
  • your hotel is far from the stations: the train leaves you at the station, and you still need a taxi;
  • your plane lands late, after the last train connection from the airport.

Where we drop you in Rabat

Anywhere a car can reach: your hotel, an apartment, an office or an embassy, Rabat‑Ville or Rabat‑Agdal station, Rabat-Salé airport. The lanes of the old medina and of the Kasbah of the Udayas are too narrow for cars. Give us the name of your riad and we stop at the nearest gate; many riads send someone to meet you there for the bags.

Rabat to Casablanca, or to the airport for a flight

The drive back costs the same. Choose "Rabat → Casablanca" at the top of the form, and give the address in Casablanca where you are going.

Flying out of Mohammed V? Count about 1 h 30 from central Rabat to the departures hall, more at the morning and evening rush hours, then add the time your airline asks you to be at the airport. We agree the pickup time with you when we confirm the booking.

Rabat for the day

Rabat is the capital of Morocco, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012. In a day you can see the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, then walk up to the Kasbah of the Udayas above the river mouth.

For a day there and back, a car with a driver by the day is often better value than two transfers: from €120 for the day, against €140 for the two drives in the Superb. The driver waits for you between visits. See a private driver by the day and our Casablanca day tours.

Going on from Rabat? Fès is about 200 km further east by the A2 motorway, about 2 h 30. Our Casablanca to Fès transfer can stop in Rabat on the way.

Is Rabat worth visiting? Is it nicer than Casablanca?

They are different cities. Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco and its business centre, with the Hassan II Mosque on the ocean. Rabat is the capital, home to the royal palace, the ministries and the embassies, and its old city is on UNESCO's World Heritage list. With an hour between them, Rabat makes an easy day out from Casablanca.
