Private transfers in Morocco, one fixed price per car

A private transfer takes you from one place to another in your own car, with your own driver: from the airport to your hotel, from Casablanca to Marrakech, from Fès to Chefchaouen. You pay one fixed price for the car, not per person, and the price is the same in both directions. Your driver meets you with your name on a sign and, at the airport, follows your flight.

  • The car and its driver, for your drive, door to door.

  • Your flight followed: if you land late, the driver waits and nothing is added.
  • An air-conditioned car, with water on board.
  • Child seats on request.
  • Stops on the way: a coffee, a photo, a short visit. Tell us when you book.
  • One fixed price, agreed before you travel.

Choosing the car

CarPassengersLarge bagsGood for
Škoda Superb33A couple, or three people with normal luggage
Ford Tourneo Custom712Families and groups with a lot of luggage
Mercedes-Benz Vito77Groups who travel lighter

The booking page checks your group against each car and greys out a car that cannot take it. Beyond 7 passengers or 12 large bags you need two cars, and we quote both.

A transfer, a taxi or the train?

Taxis. Moroccan cities have small petit taxis for short rides in town, on the meter, and grand taxis for longer trips, often shared with other passengers until the car is full. For a long drive, you agree the price with the driver, and the car and its comfort vary. A private transfer is booked and priced in advance, in a car you know.

The train. Good and cheap between Casablanca, Rabat, Fès, Tangier and Marrakech, and since 2018 the Al Boraq high-speed line links Casablanca to Tangier in 2 h 10. You still need a taxi at each end, and you carry your luggage through the stations. There is no train to Chefchaouen or Essaouira.

A private transfer is the simplest choice when you land with luggage, travel with children, arrive late at night, or go where the train does not.

Route by route

Casablanca to Marrakech (240 km, about 2 h 45). Almost all motorway, south through Berrechid, Settat and Ben Guerir, with service areas on the way for a coffee. The train also runs between the two cities, so the transfer earns its price when you have luggage, children or a late flight, or when you start at Mohammed V airport and want to skip the city: the airport is south of Casablanca, on the side of the Marrakech motorway.

Casablanca to Rabat (90 km, 1 h 15). A short motorway drive up the coast. If you have an hour to spare, ask to stop at the Hassan Tower or the Kasbah of the Udayas before your hotel. From Mohammed V airport, the drive is about 110 km.

Casablanca to Fès (295 km, 3 h 30). By the motorway through Rabat and Meknès. The best detour is Volubilis, the Roman ruins north of Meknès, which adds about two hours with the visit. Cars cannot enter the Fès medina: your driver takes you to the nearest gate, and many riads send someone to meet you there for the bags.

Casablanca to Tangier (340 km, 4 h). North along the Atlantic by Rabat and Kenitra. Asilah, a whitewashed town on the coast, is an easy lunch stop an hour before Tangier. The high-speed train is faster on this line; the car wins for door to door with luggage, or with a stop on the way.

Casablanca to Essaouira (360 km, 4 h 45). Down the coast by El Jadida, the old Portuguese Mazagan, or by the Marrakech motorway and then west. There is no train to Essaouira.

Casablanca to Chefchaouen (340 km, 5 h 30). The longest of our drives, and the one where a private transfer helps most: there is no train to Chefchaouen. Cars stop at the edge of the old town, which is all stairs and lanes, and your driver helps with the bags to the nearest point.

Airport and station pickups

At Mohammed V airport, your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, and we follow your flight. See Casablanca airport transfers for the details and the other ways into the city. Flying into Marrakech, Fès or Tangier instead? See Morocco airport transfers.

At a train station, give us your train and its arrival time, and your driver meets you at the station exit. This is useful when you take the high-speed train to Casablanca and continue by road to a place the train does not reach.

Where we pick up and drop off

Anywhere a car can reach: your hotel, an apartment, a train station, Mohammed V airport. In the old medinas of Fès, Marrakech, Essaouira and Chefchaouen, cars stop at the gates, because the lanes inside are too narrow. Give us your riad's name, and we tell you the nearest gate before the day; many riads send someone to meet you there and carry the bags.

Several drives in one booking

Most trips need more than one drive: the airport on arrival, Casablanca to Marrakech a few days later, back to the airport at the end. Send them all in one WhatsApp message, with the dates and times, and we quote them together. You get one confirmation for the whole trip, and the same contact for every drive.

A pickup today?

Yes, if a car is free. Send the request on the booking page or on WhatsApp, then call +212 600 548 316 so we see it straight away.

When plans change

A flight delayed, a later train, a different hotel: write to us on WhatsApp as soon as you know, and we move the pickup. For flights, you do not even need to: we follow them, and a late landing costs nothing extra.

Long drives: what to expect

On the drives of four hours and more, plan a stop for a coffee and a stretch, and ask for more if you need them. The motorway service areas have cafés and toilets. Lunch on the road is easy to arrange: tell your driver what you like. For the longest drives, such as Casablanca to Chefchaouen, an early start gets you there in daylight.

A transfer that becomes a tour

A long transfer can be more than a drive. From Casablanca to Fès you can stop at Rabat or Volubilis; from Casablanca to Marrakech, at a café on the motorway or for lunch. Ask when you book. If you want several days with the same driver, see our tours from Casablanca or book a private driver by the day.

How to book a transfer

  1. Send the details on WhatsApp: from, to, date and time, number of passengers and large bags, and your flight or train number if you have one. Or use the booking page.
  2. We confirm the car and the fixed price, usually within the hour. Nothing is booked until we confirm.
  3. On the day, your driver is there with your name on a sign.

Booking a return? Tick "Add the return trip" in the form: same car, same price, on the day you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Is the price per person or per car?

Per car. One price for the car and the driver, whatever the number of passengers.

Is the return trip the same price?

Yes. Every route costs the same in both directions.

What if my flight or train is late?

We follow your flight. Your driver waits, and nothing is added to the price.

Can we stop on the way?

Yes. Ask for a coffee or photo stop when you book.

Do you have child seats?

Yes, on request. Tell us the age of each child.

How long is the drive from Casablanca to Marrakech?

About 2 h 45 for the 240 km, a little more at rush hour or with stops.

Can you pick us up at the airport and drive us straight to another city?

Yes. From Mohammed V airport we drive to Marrakech, Rabat, Fès and the other cities on this page. We confirm the price from the airport on WhatsApp.

Do you do transfers that do not start in Casablanca?

Ask us. We confirm on WhatsApp whether we can do it, and the price.
