- Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Boumalne Dadès
Over the High Atlas
Across the High Atlas above 2,000 metres, the kasbah of Telouet on the old caravan route through the Ounila Valley, Aït Ben Haddou, then the Dadès. Night: Dadès.
- Boumalne Dadès → Todra Gorge → Merzouga
To the Sahara
Through Tinghir and its palm groves, past the old khettara canals, to Merzouga for a camel ride at sunset and a night in camp. Night: Desert camp, Merzouga.

Across the Middle Atlas
North through the Middle Atlas and the cedar forest to Fès. Night: Fès.
